january, in retrospect.

exams took up half of it sadly, but it's February! my everyone's favourite month. weather's wearing me out, though. too hot too hot

the world shifted on its axis when you walked away;
  the haze of the night (&the one in my head) had left my vision distorted
I knowingly went in circles,
foolishly hoping that by doing so, it would take me across the sea.



(I've learned to adapt, though, for even when the world revolves anew
 the sun still rises &sets so familiar.)
